About Braddock Dems
Volunteers are the backbone of our democracy. We organize and mobilize for Democratic values at the local-level!
Braddock Democrats meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at a metro-accessible location. Our monthly meetings are open to all Democrats, so please join us. There is usually a program on a topic of interest to local Democrats, and brief remarks by some of our local elected officials and Democratic candidates. You can get more information about the monthly meetings in the latest newsletter or sign up online for notifications. Meeting details and locations are also always posted on our online calendar.
We are responsible for the grassroots operations of the Democratic Party in the Braddock Magisterial District of Fairfax County, Virginia, and are committed to electing Democrats, increasing participation in the Democratic Party, and improving our community.
We are an inclusive group with members from all walks of life and backgrounds.
We welcome all who support these ideals and efforts.
It’s not all about work—it’s also a fun and rewarding experience! There are lots of opportunities to get to know like-minded people in our district, as well as our elected officials and candidates. If you’ve ever considered getting involved, or if you have any questions, let’s talk about the best ways you can take action in our community.
What We Do
Braddock Democrats work to improve the community we live in. Whether we are advocating for better governance, participating in VDOT’s Adopt-a-Highway program, working with our public high school students, or striving to elect Democrats to local, state, and national office, we are community active. Through community involvement and grassroots organization, we will work to get Democratic candidates elected.

Post-meeting happy hours, family-friendly gatherings, & our Volunteer Thank You Party after the General Election, we always remember to mix fun with our hard work.
